Last week's topic of auto-racing, Indianapolis-style, reminded me of my little race car fan and his penchant for birthdays with a race car theme. We had several birthdays in a row with a race car theme (well, two birthdays in a row with a race car theme, but we almost had a third such birthday until he changed his mind, so I count it as "several.") After more than one birthday with an automobile racing theme, I began to feel like a bit of an expert. I also got to thinking "that would be the perfect blog post . . ."
So, this week we are doing a different type of theme night discussion: a birthday party theme! (Actually, one of my book reviewers mentioned that many of the theme ideas in my book could be used for birthday parties, so I suppose this week's topic is not that far from the usual norm.)
