looking for a last-minute easter craft? try these quick & easy easter bunnies!

Fun-filled family night activities based around themes kids love!

A friend of mine asked me for suggestions for cute Easter (or bunny) crafts or snacks. After reading her request, I headed into the pantry and let my crazy teacher mind go to work. I found some rather stale ice cream cones (the cup style kind), and it got me to thinking. How could I turn these into a bunny rabbit? I have a favorite December craft that involves frosting and decorating an ice cream cone to look like a tree. I think my Easter table could use some cute bunnies made in a similar fashion! Time to whip up some white frosting, get out the marshmallows (I found those in the pantry too), and decorate some bunnies!
While I had rabbits on the brain, I thought of a fun game to make. Wouldn’t it be a lot of fun to make paper cup rabbits and then make a “bunny bowling” game using the cups for pins? (I think I had bowling on my mind because we went bowling with the Easter bunny today!) The paper cup rabbits could also be used for a “which rabbit is hiding the jelly bean” game too. Holidays can be so much fun!
For those of you that celebrate Easter but don’t do the whole bunny and egg thing, I will be listing my activities to go with the Resurrection Eggs later this week. And stay tuned for pictures!
